Frequently asked questions

01How do I sync my sessions across devices?

Focalify syncs through iCloud automatically when it is available. Use the same Apple Account on each device, make sure iCloud Drive is enabled in system settings, and check the sync status shown in Focalify Settings.

02Can I use Focalify offline?

Yes. Sessions and preferences work on-device without an internet connection. A connection is only needed when iCloud is syncing changes between devices.

03How does Pomodoro mode work?

Turn on Auto-start Breaks to begin a break after a completed focus session. Turn on Pomodoro Mode as well to start the next focus round after that break. Manually stopped sessions do not advance the cycle.

04Can I keep notes or repeat an earlier session?

Yes. Open History to search, rename, add or edit notes, and repeat a previous session with one tap.

05How can I move or remove my data?

Open iCloud & Data in Settings. Export Session Data and Import Session Data move completed session records as JSON. Delete individual sessions in History, or use Reset All Data when you want a broader reset.

06Why did I not receive a completion notification?

Check that notifications are allowed for Focalify in system settings and that a Focus mode is not silencing them. Focalify asks for permission when you start your first session.
