Focalify ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our focus timer and productivity application (the "App") on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS devices.

• Local Storage: All data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData
• iCloud Sync: If enabled, data syncs to your private iCloud container using CloudKit

• No Tracking: We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs
• Encryption: All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest

iCloud Integration

When you enable iCloud sync, your focus session data is stored in your private iCloud account. Apple's iCloud privacy policy applies to this data. We cannot access your iCloud data without your device credentials. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the app settings.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights:

• Access: View all your stored data within the app
• Export: Export your session data at any time
• Delete: Delete individual sessions or all data
• Opt-out: Disable iCloud sync in settings
• Notifications: Control notification preferences

Children's Privacy

Focalify is suitable for users of all ages (4+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not contain social features, in-app purchases, or third-party advertising.

Third-Party Services

Focalify uses only Apple's native frameworks:

• CloudKit (for iCloud sync, optional)
• WidgetKit (for home screen widgets)
• UserNotifications (for session alerts)
• HealthKit (not currently used, may be added in future)

We do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Retention

Your session data is retained indefinitely on your device and in your iCloud account (if enabled) until you manually delete it. You can delete individual sessions or clear all data through the app settings at any time.

International Users

Focalify is available worldwide. Your data is stored on your device and in your iCloud account, subject to your iCloud region settings. We do not operate servers or transfer data internationally.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy and through an in-app notification for significant changes. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
